“Music in Health and Well-being”

This lecture will explore music's healing power and its applications in healthcare, considering cultural variations and social factors. It will examine music's role in social justice and public health initiatives, discussing theoretical perspectives and practical applications. The content will reflect on Taiwan's current situation and future trends in music and public health, concluding with an interactive Q&A session.

 

 

2024 Guest Lecturer: Zoe Weng 翁宇蓉

Zoe Weng, MA, MT-BC, DMtG, a board-certified music therapist from Taiwan, currently practices at Upper Bavarian District Mental Hospital, Germany. With degrees from the USA and Germany, she integrates multicultural approaches and evidence-based practices. Zoe advocates for music therapy through committee work, podcasting, and professional collaborations.
